Hi, I’m Mangal Soren.

MBA (Business Economics) candidate with hands-on experience building, testing, and managing early-stage web platforms.
Currently leading product execution & operations for UGhar, Creatorlytics, and CreatiGen.

The Work

On-demand hyperlocal home services platform connecting households with verified repair technicians in Jamshedpur. Led end-to-end product execution, user flow testing, pricing strategy, and backend deployment.

60s Booking Flow QR Security & OTP Jamshedpur Live ₹99 Inspection Model Next.js TypeScript Firebase Auth Supabase (Postgres) GitHub & Coolify

The Problem

Household repair services in Tier-2/Tier-3 cities suffer from fragmented local technicians, unpredictable visit charges, lack of pricing transparency, and no post-service support accountability.

What I Found

Conducted field interviews across Jamshedpur (Sakchi, Bistupur, Sonari, Baridih, Kadma) to understand local pricing & customer friction. Identified that customers prefer a flat, low inspection fee (₹99 doorstep visit) that gets waived/adjusted into the final invoice when service proceeds.

What I Built Toward

A fast, mobile-first web app featuring dynamic category booking, live OTP verification, worker dispatch management, partner QR security scanning, and digital GST invoice generation.

What I Did

  • Built and launched the web platform connecting local households with technicians across Jamshedpur sectors
  • Tested key user flows including Firebase Phone OTP login, service selection, booking checkout, form validation, and instant notifications
  • Identified and fixed UI glitches, broken links, overlay freezes, and responsive layout issues across desktop and mobile browsers
  • Configured backend & infrastructure using Firebase Auth, Supabase (PostgreSQL & Storage), GitHub, and Railway/Coolify deployments
  • Designed & implemented partner QR code verification, 4-digit start/complete OTP job security, and live dynamic billing generator
  • Conducted local field research in Jamshedpur to establish service rate cards and transparent ₹99 inspection model

Key Insight

User trust in home services relies on immediate clarity — transparent visit pricing, technician verification, and quick support. Streamlining the booking flow to under 60 seconds drastically improves conversion.

Creatorlytics (Beta)

Product & Growth Strategy

Early-stage creator business tool helping independent creators manage brand collaborations, sponsorship deals, and incoming cash flows in a structured CRM workflow.

300+ Impressions 60+ Cold Outreach Product Hunt Listed GA4 SEO Experimentation Reddit Discovery SaaS Hub

The project explores how creators currently handle the operational side of their work — including tracking brand conversations, deliverables, contracts, and incoming payments — and whether a dedicated CRM-style system can simplify these workflows.

The Problem

Independent creators managing brand collaborations face a structural gap — not a tool gap. Deal conversations are scattered across email threads, follow-ups get missed, and spreadsheets break down the moment collaboration volume increases even slightly. There is no single source of truth.

What I Found

Most creators cobble together Gmail and personal spreadsheets with no standard format. The moment a collaboration pipeline grows, the system collapses — not because creators are disorganized, but because no lightweight CRM exists that fits how they actually work.

What I Built Toward

Creatorlytics explores whether a structured, CRM-style workflow can help solo creators manage brand deals, deliverables, and payments — without the chaos.

What I Did

  • Conducted user discovery interviews to map creator workflow patterns; identified Excel & Notion as dominant tools for tracking brand deals and payments
  • Built a structured outreach database and executed 60+ cold email campaigns to creator segment; pivoted to community-based validation after identifying low traction in direct outreach
  • Ran positioning experiments across niche subreddits (r/creatoreconomy etc.); generated 300+ impressions and 15+ qualitative responses to validate pain points
  • Set up GA4 to track user behaviour and engagement trends
  • Ran SEO experiments to test demand and organic discovery channels
  • Submitted to AI directories for distribution; approved and listed on SaaS Hub, currently live on Product Hunt

Key Insight

Creators don't have a tool problem — they have a structure problem. Brand deals live in email threads, follow-ups get missed, and spreadsheets break down the moment collaborations scale even slightly. A solo creator managing 5+ brand deals has no single source of truth. The gap isn't software — it's a system.

CreatiGenHQ

Product Validation & Market Research

AI-powered "First Draft Engine" built for serious video creators — designed to eliminate the blank page problem by proposing rough-cut timelines while keeping full creative control with the creator.

First Draft Engine Decision Co-Pilot Active Beta Scope User Discovery Positioning Validation X & Reddit Analytics

Most creators don't quit because of editing. They quit because they don't know where to start. CreatiGen watches long-form footage, proposes a rough cut timeline with visible reasoning behind every suggestion, and lets the creator make the final call. The system is built around one principle: AI suggests, you decide. Nothing gets published without creator approval.
Part of the Creatorlytics Ecosystem.

The Problem

Content creators face two distinct bottlenecks — editing grunt work, and the decision paralysis of the blank timeline. Existing tools either automate too much (removing creative control) or too little (still leaving creators staring at raw footage). There was no middle layer: a system that handles assembly while keeping judgment with the creator.

What I Found

Through community research and user conversations, a clear pattern emerged — the real friction wasn't software capability, it was decision confidence. Creators didn't need a generator. They needed a co-pilot that could propose a direction without taking the wheel. The positioning shifted from "AI editor" to "decision system" — which became the core of CreatiGen's identity.

What I Built Toward

A validation framework to test whether creators would engage with a rough-cut-first workflow — where the AI proposes a timeline with visible reasoning, and the creator polishes, approves, and exports. Currently in active Beta with weekly engine updates.

What I Did

  • Designed a structured validation framework to test early-stage product assumptions before development investment
  • Conducted user interviews and analyzed feedback patterns from creator communities to identify feature priorities — key finding: problem was decision confidence, not editing capability
  • Tested and iterated positioning via X (Twitter) and Reddit discussions; shifted narrative from "AI content generator" to "First Draft Engine" based on community response
  • Collected and synthesized qualitative feedback to map the gap between existing tools (CapCut, Premiere) and what serious creators actually needed
  • Maintained structured documentation for feature rollout plans, Beta scope, and execution timelines

Key Insight

Creators don't have an editing problem — they have a starting problem. The blank timeline is a decision problem, not a software problem. A tool that removes doubt without removing judgment fills a gap that no current editor addresses. Speed of AI, control of a pro.
